The peace of both mind and soul which comes to us from Reconciliation is a certainty that our sins have been forgiven. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just, and will forgive our sins and cleanse us all from unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
SATURDAY: 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM
The Sacrament of Reconciliation is a liturgical celebration of God’s forgiveness of sins, through which we, as sinners, are reconciled with both God and the Church community. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is normally received for the first time prior to First Eucharist. The 2nd graders of our parish prepare for First Reconciliation during the first half of the school year, either in their CCD class or at Bishop Leibold School.
